Terms and Conditions of Giftcards

Hunter Boot Limited ("Hunter") - Gift Card – Terms & Conditions

  1. The Hunter gift card ("Gift Card") is not a cheque guarantee, credit or charge card.

  2. Gift Cards can be purchased in Hunter stores in the UK (eGift Cards can be purchased online at Hunter's UK website: www.hunterboots.com/giftcards or from one of Hunter's European websites: eu.hunterboots.com, it.hunterboots.com, fr.hunterboots.com and es.hunterboots.com and de.hunterboots.com. Gift Cards can be activated with a minimum value of £10 up to a maximum value of £1000 in store.

  3. Hunter will cancel the value of a Gift Card if it fails to receive payment from the purchaser's bank or card company for the initial purchase of the Gift Card. Further action may be taken where the fraudulent use of a credit card is suspected.

  4. Gift Cards with a value in GBP can be used to make purchases at the Regent Street, London store and online at www.hunterboots.com (eGift Cards with a value in EUROS can be used to make purchases online at one of Hunter's European websites). You may not use your Gift Card to make purchases from any of Hunter's concessions, outlet or pop up stores.

  5. A maximum of 5 Gift Cards per transaction may be purchased in store.

  6. You must be present with the Gift Card in order to make purchases in store.

  7. A maximum of 1 Gift Card can be used per transaction, either online or in-store.

  8. Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase gift cards or egift cards.

  9. Gift Cards cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash.

  10. All remaining balances for purchases exceeding the value of your Gift Card must be paid by cash, credit card or debit card.

  11. If your purchase is less than the value of the Gift Card no change will be given but the balance may be applied to future purchases. You may obtain information about the remaining balance on the card at any till point in-store or online at www.hunterboots.com/giftcard_balance.

  12. Gift Cards will expire 24 months following the date of the last transaction (transaction being activation, purchase or refund) and any remaining balance will be forfeited.

  13. Gift Cards cannot be returned or refunded, except in accordance with your legal rights.

  14. Treat your Gift Card like cash. Lost, stolen or damaged cards will not be replaced.

  15. All refunds of goods purchased with your Gift Card will be made in accordance with Hunter's relevant refund policy available in Hunter stores (for instore purchases) and on Hunter's website(s) (for online purchases). The amount paid by Gift Card will be added to the balance on your Gift Card (for instore refunds please present your Gift Card used to make your purchase). If you have made an online payment with a Gift Card (in whole or in part) and you would like to return your purchase, please note that you will be refunded the amount paid by Gift Card in the form of an eGift Card. Any amounts not paid by Gift Card will be refunded via the relevant method of purchase (e.g. cash, debit card, credit card or paypal).

  16. Hunter reserves the right to refuse to accept a Gift Card which it deems to have been tampered with, duplicated, damaged or which otherwise is suspected to be affected from fraud.

  17. Hunter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time, where it considers it reasonable and necessary to do so. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

  18. Any personal data collected from you in the course of issuing, registering or activating your Gift Card, which may include your name, address, email address and phone number, will only be used for the purpose of the administration of your Gift Card. Hunter's Privacy Policy applies wherever you are required to provide any personal information.

  19. Use of your Gift Card evidences acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  1. The Hunter egift card ("eGift Card") is not a cheque guarantee, credit or charge card. An eGift Card is one purchased online and issued to the recipient via email or other electronic means.

  2. eGift Cards purchased online may be purchased in any amount ranging from £10/€10 to £1000/€1000.

  3. Promotion codes cannot be applied to the purchase of eGift Cards.

  4. eGift Cards will be e-mailed to the purchaser once the full order has been processed and payment has been taken. Hunter is not liable for delivery of an eGift Card to an incorrect or non-existent email address, this is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
